GJC was appointed to coordinate, produce and manage
Ngalaya’s Law Week event and to write, design
and print a brochure promoting Ngalaya. This program
was aimed at promoting careers in law to young Aboriginal
people as part of Law Week activities.
Reason for Engagement
GJC was approached by the Ngalaya to produce and manage
their Law Week event and to produce associated materials.
GJC was chosen due to our reputation for high production
values, creative approach and the quality of our
team.
Client’s Needs
Ngalaya was organising an Indigenous Law Week event
and preparation of a booklet to promote the event
and the organisation. Ngalaya sought our services
to coordinate, produce and manage the event, the booklet and a report on the
event.
GJC’s approach
GJC set up and implemented delivery schedules covering
all aspects of the event, which ensured that the
event ran smoothly and professionally.
In particular, GJC undertook the following tasks:

of lawyers to be placed in booklet

of the recording to be distributed

Stage-managed event
Project Outcome
The event was a great success on all levels, from
production management, design and copy to the quality
of the speakers. GJC effectively marketed the event
which ensured maximum participation at all levels
of the Aboriginal community, including those in
the legal profession, those considering employment
in the legal profession and the general community.
The event ran smoothly and the brochure was well-
received within the target audience.
Materials Delivered
A brochure, invitation, banner, video and a two-hour
forum held on 13 May 2002.
